Seraphinite stones are a beautiful mixture of the deep green color, shot through with lovely silver markings that in many Seraphinite stones resemble beautiful angel wings. The meaning of this stone's name is derived from the name Seraphim, the angels of highest spiritual level.
I chose a simple, minimal setting for this stone to show off as much of it's beautiful color variations as possible. The setting is made from sterling silver wire that was formed, soldered, sanded and tumble polished for a bright, smooth finish.
The pendant hangs from three strands of strong, waxed polyester cord finished with sterling silver chain and clasp. A 4" extension chain makes this necklace adjustable from 16" - 20".
Pendant measures 7/8" wide x 1 1/2" high.
Seraphanite and Sterling Silver Pendant Necklace
To maintain the beauty of your handmade jewelry I recommend not wearing it while exercising or showering. Excess sweat and chemicals can quickly tarnish your piece. Natural oxidation will occur over time on all Sterling Silver, Brass and Copper jewelry. Wearing them often is the best way to keep them looking good. Friction from everyday wear actually helps polish the metal. If tarnish occurs, your piece can be cleaned with a jewelry polishing cloth.
